Run No 2

The MH3 run number two was an excellent, well executed run taking us round to the governor's, the red cross, looping behind the main road up to mahogany and almost as far as Ziggy's before the steep climb to mars hill via cheap end and the steep descent to bunkum bay taking us back to palm loop where hare Alex sat in a deck chair, beer in hand, waiting for us (Barbados style). glen, the other hare, accompanied the pack throughout, giving nothing away at the first check which fooled us all. Simon made short shrift of all the hills (and there seemed to be many of them).

Cayhill plodded behind Gill stopping at times for water and at times because he didn't want to walk any further (I know the feeling). No weevils spotted, but there were strange tongue prints in the flour which we were assured was not harmful.

Post down downs generous hosts Alex and Valerie fired up the Barbie and didn't get rid of us until after 8.

Venue for run no 3 is the Belham River Bridge, hares are David and Simon, date 3rd February, time 11.00.
