Run No 8 - Bastille Day Hash

On time 3.30.p.m. the red T -shirts and flying French flashes arrived at Mooses, deposited various belongings to be shipped to Rendezvous Bay; Cossies, Bar Booze, Flippers, masks, snorkels, umbrellas, coolboxes and rucksacks under the safekeeping of Bar/Bay Watch MacElders and Moosedick. The aforesaid were tossed overboard on the beach and Moosedick waved goodbye with the ferryman. The Bar and belongings were pulled to the one inch of shade near a rock occupied by the resident gecko awaiting hashers.

MEANWHILE Briefing and Baguettes were dispensed at Mooses, transport organised and off to Drummonds.

The Runners were deposited at the foot of the hill to give them their warm up to join the Walkers who were still in vehicular mode till the top of the New Road Hill. On On through Rendezvous Village inspecting the skeletal occupants of the abandoned house. On on north a bit, then west to find a rocky shore. On On south round the bend slip sliding on the pebbles to find the On In at Rendezvous Bay. Baguettes were checked and abandoned for Beer and a lingering bob in the Caribbean or a bit of a snorkel at the reef, only to be abandoned reluctantly for the Down Downs.

The semi-circle was completed by the ferryman to Little bay. Happy Landings!
